Maintenance Engineer

Key tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate and perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and utility systems
- Perform preventive/corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment and utility systems as per computerised maintenance management system
- Good housekeeping of Control Room
- Perform sampling and analysis on utility systems in accordance with requirements
- Identify and report utility systems maintenance requirements
- Use and maintain workshop and welding/cutting equipment, including tools and instruments
- Perform bunkering operations
- Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning
- Assist in mechanical spare parts and consumables stock control
- Use of and adherence to the Permit to Work system requirements
- Use the computerised maintenance management system to generate work orders etc
- Prepare required reports, keep logs and maintain appropriate documentation
- Ensure that vendors and contractors are interfaced with safely and effectively
- Member of Emergency Response Team
Qualification requirements
Education
- Higher diploma / Degree in relevant Engineering discipline; EOOW (III/1) CoC with Steam endorsement from a maritime administration recognised by the Singapore Flag State required
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance of process, marine and utility equipment on board FPSOs, offshore facilities or marine vessels
Skills
- Good inter-personal and communications skills
- Good computer skills and knowledge of computerised maintenance management system(s)
