WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be based in our Lagos office and oversee the executive assistant and office services team while working closely with our global real estate team, firm security, HR, IT and service line and location-based leadership.
You will perform and oversee a variety of activities that collectively contribute to the functionality and appearance of the office. You will collaborate closely with the leadership and will focus on all areas connected with operational activities, strategic initiatives, and motivating and coaching employees.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll oversee the executive assistant and office services team while working closely with our global real estate team, firm security, HR, IT, service line and location leadership.
In this role, you will ensure a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters innovation in customer support. You'll be responsible for vendor and contract management, maintenance and upkeep of the office infrastructure, security, food services, reception, visitors, parking, transportation, supplies, emergency response and event support. You will manage the operating budget and reporting for the location in close alignment with leadership and finance team.
You will manage end to end immigration process renewals, reports, compliance, visa process, relationship with the Nigerian Immigration Service
You will also manage and develop a high-performing team who embrace a customer service mindset and continuous improvement approach. You'll be responsible for the growth and development of your team, ensuring consistency in role responsibilities and career path progression. You'll also coach and develop team members to collaborate while delivering high performance and ensure high-quality learning opportunities for all team members.
In addition, you will lead ongoing community-building efforts. You'll organize and oversee large, sitewide events, social and other connectivity-based efforts for location-based colleagues and work in collaboration across service lines.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree
· 5+ years of relevant experience ideally in a professional services environment
· Proven record of leading a high-performing team with strong people development and teambuilding skills; ability to supervise others and conduct formal and informal coaching
· Prior experience in immigration management is preferable.
· Analytic mindset and strong problem-solving skills
· High degree of integrity and judgment
· Strong influencing and relationship-building capabilities
· Passion and excitement for continuous improvement and a customer mindset; experience with Agile methodology is a plus
· Proven project management skills including measurement through KPIs and development of SOPs
· Good negotiation skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
